TOM LATIMOUR
Tom founded Constellation after a career in finance spanning investment banking and private equity.
In 2014, Tom started at Jarden, a full-service investment bank based in New Zealand, after training with Credit Suisse in New York. At Jarden, Tom worked for some of New Zealand’s largest and most valuable companies, across advisory, equity, debt and M&A.
From 2017 until 2023, Tom worked in London as an investment professional at the $112 billion investment fund, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).
During his time at GIP, Tom worked across the full investment life-cycle, including originating and executing investments and financings, portfolio management, and exits, in both the transport and energy sectors.
GIP is regarded as one of the world’s leading investors, with a disciplined investment approach and comprehensive operational expertise that focuses on improving businesses for the long-term. GIP was purchased by Blackrock in 2024.
Today, Tom leads Constellation from London, focusing on applying his expertise to the world of early-stage companies.
SOPHIE GOW
In 2019 Sophie started as an Analyst in PwC’s Auckland Corporate Finance team; New Zealand’s leading mid-market M&A advisor.
At PwC, she advised several high-growth companies to successfully raise capital across the tourism and energy sectors, as well as helping large private clients to successfully exit both locally and to offshore buyers.
Sophie then joined the Deutsche Craigs Investment Banking team (previously 49.9% owned by Deutsche Bank, subsequently J.P. Morgan affiliated) gaining significant capital market experience and working for NZ’s largest listed companies across M&A and equity
Since 2023 Sophie has worked in London at the technology-focused Investment Bank Acuity Advisors, specializing in semiconductors and Deep Tech.
Here, she facilitated start-up capital raises, securing capital from some of the U.K. and Europe’s leading venture capital funds and PE houses, as well as successfully exiting European-based businesses
As a partner at Constellation, Sophie focuses on assisting early-stage businesses to fulfil their strategic growth plans.
